Is anyone going to the 'Vigil for Life' tomorrow

Just wondering is anyone going to the vigil tomorrow? The organisers are saying there is a huge crowd expected but I only know of the odd person attending. I am not going myself but am interested to see if they get as big of a crowd as the pro choice march. Probably not the best forum for it but wanted to get peoples' opinions but not necessarily from only a religious forum/point of view. Please no abusive comments if people say they are going.

A vigil for whose life, the foetus or the mothers?

I think Silvio Dante is going.

I'm assuming it's a vigil for the foetus as it's a reaction to the abortion debate/ pro choice march as I stated in my first message

I wish people would stop calling them Pro-Life and use the more accurate Anti-Choice term.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,015 ✭✭✭CreepingDeath

    I'm pro-choice.

A 'vigil' has too much association with religion, and religious organisations have shown that they put their needs above childrens in practice.

    No.

Anyway tomorrow's weather forecast would indicate that God is against them and their 'vigil'.

Watch out for the men dressed in long black dresses, they're mixed up with a funny crowd who engage in a culture of death, worshipping a man who died 2,000 years ago.

Don't kill yours them. Me, I get to decide what happens to a bunch of cells in my uterus. Why don't you do something more productive, like helping some of the born babies? Or does that sound too much like hard work?

Are you prolife because you want an iPad too? STAY AWAY FROM MY IPAD.

'Culture of death' is such a badass name, like some 80's metal band. I'm all for it. They should have picked a name that wouldnt interest me.

Who's playing support? I could be tempted if its Dana. Only if she plays her early stuff though.

    On second thoughts....

... No. Of course I'm not going. Why would I go? All those wombs I don't own are no business of mine.
