Dont worry, we'll have sacked Jose again and AVB by the time Pep decides to leave Bayern, Summer 2016 is our year for Pep. :D

Lads just thinking about it, Mourinho is out the door at the end of the season, we took on an experienced manager only as an "Interim". To me this looks like Rafa is keeping the seat warm for Jose.

I'd love to have seen a camera on Roman when he hears this news.

I'm glad pep is going to munich apparently. I assume roman has known about this for some time so it will be interesting who we appoint in the summer.

 Jes seems like only last week the last thread was closed!

As for tonight, as most are saying is King Demba starts I reckon we should see it out handy enough. However if Torres starts i reckon we'll win but make hard work of it.

I can't really see it tbh, Jose looks to be gone from Real at the end of the season, do you think Fergie will pack it in ?

I do actually. Just a hunch if Man United win the league he'll retire

if Utd win another League then I can see him moving upstairs, he'll have jumped 1 more ahead ofLiverpools domestic league total and the squad is in a good place now, experience and youth, it would be a huge bonus if they won the UCL to go with it, but I cant see it.

Its going to be very interesting now as 1 of the 2 possible best managers available in the summer is gone and possibily Utd, City and Chelsea will all have been interested in Pep and now we'll all turn to Jose.

Hes going to love the media attention now ahead of his trip to Old trafford.

He could have an imprint of Perez's expensive boots or a RM badge seared onto that arse though if things continue like they are...:P

I just can't see Fergie calling it a day anytime soon, regardless what he wins this year, could be wrong though.

Happy enough that Pep isn't coming to us, sadly I think amiable is right though, I can see Jose going there, and in true horror story mode taking Cole and Lampard there too to come back and bite us :(

Jesus that does sound horrible

Can't see Jose returning in the summer, just seems to good to be true. It's becoming more likely now that we might be stuck with Rafa! :(

Bring back Jose bring back Di matteo bring back Zola bring back jimmy Floyd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

I think Jose will be gone in the summer, he'll be trying his best to win them the UCL but its only to add to his own personal triumphs.

I'm not sure anything can save him really, if he has an early exit from the UCL I wouldnt be surprsied if he got booted out before the end of the season, whats he behind Barca now, 18 points? Barca wont slip up, not with the form theyve found under Tito, he may even struggle to get over Atletico who are 7 ahead of him, finishing behind Atletico is not on and well be hated in Madrid by the fans.

Zola is not even nearly experienced enough to take over IMO, I can only see two people at Chelsea next season, either Benitez or Mourinho.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,258 ✭✭✭MUSEIST

As much as I'd love jose back I think we all know that will not happen. It really begs the question, who will be the next chelsea manager? We have pretty much had every manager at this stage.

True,it's frightening to think that we're actually running out of top class managers to hire!

I think whoever takes over needs to be giving time, I wouldn't mind Simeone, but if he's not given time, he'll just be another AVB.

With Pep gone we've run out of road with managers.

I think its all to play for now with Benitez. He could end up here for a few years if he keeps us in top 4 and wins a cup.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,603 ✭✭✭grumpymunster

If the speculation is true then our interim will be off to RM, who knows.

Munich was always the best fit for Pepe and I am not concerned he is not coming to us as I really didn't think he would. Someone talented, young and wants to win would be just the job I dont think Klopp will leave Dortmund that is a huge club in its own right.

Will Jose come back, can anyone see RA swallowing his pride and admitting he made a mistake I dont know but cant see that.

For me Mazzarri or Simeone will be front runners, unproven but they look talented and motivated. But who ever it is for the love of God give them a chance, you never know AVB could be back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of people seem to think that Mourinho wouldn't work under Roman again, but here's a link to a story that proves there's no bad blood between the two.

Its an old story but still relevant nonetheless.
