I have two external hard drives contstantly powered on and connected to my desktop running Windows 8.

Every time I boot up and check in Computer, my C: drive and two other internal drives are listed, but not the external drives.

If I unplug them and reconnect them, the computer does register them then.

I never had a problem with Vista.

How can I make Windows 8 'see' them on bootup?

    Thanks.

    D
