    14 Sean Maitland
    13 Alex Dunbar
    12 Peter Horne
    11 DTH van der Merwe
    10 Duncan Weir
    9 Henry Pyrgos
    1 Ryan Grant
    2 Doug Hall
    3 Moray Low
    4 Tom Ryder
    5 Al Kellock (Captain)
    6 James Eddie
    7 Robert Harley
    8 Josh Strauss
    16 Pat MacArthur
    17 Gordon Reid
    18 N/A
    19 Nick Campbell
    20 Tim Swinson
    21 Nikola Matawalu
    22 Scott Wight
    23 Stuart Hogg

Strong lineup for Ulster, who will be looking for a Bonus Point win in their last home game in the pool stages of this years HEC.

Glasgow come to Ravenhill looking to beat what is arguably Europe's most in form team, but do so a man down due to being unable to name a replacement prop on the bench.

Hopefully the game doesn't result in uncontested scrums.

Speaking to a few friends in Ulster and they are saying that there seems to be some protests planned for around the match time and area, I hope any boardsies going to the game are safe and you have an enjoyable time.

There were protests when we went up for the Leinster game - didn't effect us at all to be honest, although we made sure to get down a good hour before KO to avoid road closures.

There is a bomb alert in East Belfast, or there was at least this morning. Not sure if it's still in place but anyone going should go early. :)

By the way I mentioned in the Ulster team talk thread that the referee can refuse a replacement if he is not satisfied that he can play the position that he is coming on to cover for.

Supposedly Gauzere has been asked his opinions on the Glasgow props and has explained that Reid is not acceptable TH cover so it could go to uncontested scrums early with Low carrying a knock.

Disgusted by the behaviour of these dumb f*cks.

Sell out game and probably a good few glasgow fans didn't travel through sheer fear of what they have read and saw on tv.

Never mind that their money would have boosted the local economy through flights, hotels, taxis, food and drink etc....but unfortunately the dumb f*cks will still look for their welfare payments next week (presume they don't work as they can stay up half the night rioting)...welfare payments paid from the shrinking pot which would have been helped more by a few glaswegians visiting.

    Anyway enough of the rant...

Good night for playing rugby. Ulster need to win this match first, then worry about the bonus point after this.

Uncontested scrums could be a bummer - a five metre attacking ulster scrum could sneak a handy penalty try but won't be much good with a bunch of forwards packing down like an under 9's game.

Hope to see payne and gilroy getting plenty of ball and of course big nick absolutely smashing anything that gets in his way.

I love watching big Nick. :D

He really gets us going. As soon as he gets the ball the crowd noise starts to rise and then it gets really loud once he flattens the first couple of tacklers. :pac:

i hope gilroy gets a chance to give some ireland selectors headaches, he has had a tendency of having large quiet patches in games for club this season but maybe thats just the curse of a wing

Not long now boys! Pre-game build up kicks off in 10 minutes on Sky Sports 2.

Have the beer and Chinese ordered. Looking forward to a night in front of the TV watching Ulster storm to a bonus point win, as part of the process of conquering Europe.

Sitting here in 30 degrees plus in shorts and a t-shirt but wishing I was freezing my nuts off at Ravenhill with a half flat pint in a plastic glass!

    STFU.

Let's get this under control early, need to keep a handle on unforced errors and keep the ball stuffed up big nick's shirt for ten minutes. Amazing how he has helped us in not missing Fez too much when he has been out through injury. The jury was most definitely out on this signing, many of us are eating our words and all the happier for it!

  • I don't know why but I'm really excited about this game.

I reckon I've seen more Ulster games than Leinster games this season.

    Don't tell me Da!

Wonder how much power is coming from Henderson in the scrums, he was behind Afoa when he destroyed Healy over christmas, he's behind Court tonight.
