Personal Training Course - NTC or Portobello?

Hi All. Simple enough question. I am deciding between these two similar courses.

    http://www.portobelloinstitute.ie/sports-therapy/sports-courses/personal-trainer-part-time

    And

    http://www.ntc.ie/fitness-courses?pmsession=fb082655bb94e2990a1efb0e1cf950fe

Looking for honest advice and opinions on which of these I should do. I am looking at these two due to location and it is my intention to go down the 1 to 1 and small group personal coaching/training route.

    Any opinion is appreciated. Thanks!

    :D

I hear Portobello have dramatically improved in the past couple of years (completely changed their staff & cert)BUT I'd be still very wary of them from experience!

The NTC are ok, very dated at this stage! Compare their course to http://www.imageft.ie/ & I think you get much more & relavent info from imageft! I don't know how good their delivery of the course is but I'm sure someone on here will be able to comment.

Hanley is giving LIA Blackrock his seal of approval at the moment! I suppose that's a good thing?? I also hear rumours he likes to eat vaseline on toast! :P

Hi there, thanks for the info. :) My issue is trying to find a course either in central or north Dublin (I live in North County Dublin) hence making a decision between NTC and Portobello, but also something part time, so that I can continue to work around the training.

As I don't know what the new staff are like in Portobello I'd have to say the NTC if they're your only choices! At the end of the day you're getting your piece of paper which means you have the minimum requirement to get insured & work, the real learning comes on the job!

http://www.motions.ie/#!fitness-instructor-course again, I know nothing about these guys, it's another 1 just to throw out there! They have a part time course in the irishlife building!
