    Hi All

Im looking for some recommadations, I was going to join westwood but I decided not to for the moment as I,ve joined similar gyms over the years and felt intimated and then just dropped out, but this time I want it to be different.

I'm looking to get fit as I want to do a challenge this year and basically just improve my over all health and tone up.
I'm hoping to find a place that they will show you how to use the equipment properly and maybe have a bit of a social aspect to the place as Im new to the area.

I have narrowed my choices to two places BHAF.ie and befit4life.ie both in Sandyford, as both palces are near my home. If any one has a recommendation for a place near D2 I would be interested as thats near where I work. Any one any experience of these palces and how have you found them.

    I apreciate any feedback.

I'm a member at bhaf, it doesn't look great at first but it has just about everything you'd need and for €30 a month with no contract, I think it's great.

Anywhere from 250 to 800 a month  depending on whether you go to bootcamp only, are a member of the gym or do personal training or all three. I used to go there and it is a good gym, and got me some good results. PM me for more opinion.

I go to Body health and Fitness now as does my wife, excellent gym. Minimalist appearance but plenty of good equipment, not too busy most of the time and great sense of friendliness. They have a great personal training/gym membership package there that my wife does that is the best value around as far as I can work out.

I am affiliated with neither :)

its about 200-300 depending. Thats a lot but that 8 personal training session a month. Strongman or kettlebell classes, full gym membership and a custom nutrition, diet and training plan. In my previous gym I paid over 500 a month for less. As stated above membership is only 30 a month but I strongly recommend personal training...its a real kick in the ass.

Have you considered Ben Dunne in the Sandyford industrial estate?
Also there is a new Ben Dunne Gym opening in the Cherrywood Science and Technology Park in March.

The Ben Dunne gym in Cherrywood is now open.
It's very nice, big place, all new machines and two studios.
