So I'd just be interested to hear opinions on this.
If someone is doing the below program for quads:
The whole program is made up of trisets.

    A1 Squats 4x8 (4010)
    A2 walking lunges 4x8 (4010)
    A3 Leg extension 4x8 (4010)

    B1 Front squats 4x8 (4010)
    B2 Split squats 4x8 (4010)
    B3 Leg press 4x8 (4010)

Scenario A: The person does the whole program in 30 minutes with 90 sec breaks only after each triset. very high intensity.

Scenario B: Person takes an hour to do the program with good breaks between sets.

So what are the benefits of doing scenario A over Scenario B and vice versa?

Would you say that in scenario A the person will burn more calories (burn more body fat)? And in scenario B the person will build more muscle?

Assume a fairly standard high protein/ low carb diet.

    1) that's way too much work
    2) worry about diet/cardio for burning kcals and lifting/training for building movement & muscle

    ...an alternative reply :)

Yeah well basically I'm doing this program at the moment in 30 minutes. Pretty much no breaks. Obviously different set of exercises depending on which muscle group I'm working but its two trisets each day, 5 days a week. HIIT on another day and one rest day. Trying to drop bodyfat and maintain as much muscle as possible. I'll see how it goes. I did the above on Monday and found it very difficult. Legs are still sore. Something different anyways..
