How to take footage from a DVD

    What software/program do i need to do this. I have a load of WW2 dvd's and want to make a youtube video using bits of footage from the dvd's.

    been using it for years and does exactly what it states. Not aware if there's a free program that can do this, but i'm sure others will leave replies if there is.

    Loads of free dvd rippers and copiers available.
    Best are probably free version of DVDFab and the handiest converter is the opensource Freemake.
    DVDShrink was once one of the best.

    I don't think it leaves the logo, it may though.
