    Anyone currently a member here? Thinking about taking a membership out here tomorrow just want to know any plus points or negative points?

    Crowds....while college term is ongoing, it's a nightmare in there, ridiculously overcrowded unless you're in there 1st thing in the morning.

    +1 on the above. I was a member there for 3 years and would only be able to go after work between 6 and 7.30. Its way too overcrowded at that time and you will spend most of your time waiting for machines/benches etc. Whats more annoying was that they have a huge section of gym closed for UCC teams and clubs...this goes unused at times. (I left before the summer so dont know if this has changed with new developments there) I go to NRG at River Lee Hotel which isnt as crowded and still has all the equipment you need

    I havent been there myself but ive heard its a nightmare due to the aforementioned college crowds(its free for UCC or CIT....both?)i was warned away by a few people


    Rivers Edge or The Clarion might be better options,Rivers Edge is only about 200 quid for the year,never too busy,various free classes,The Clarion is about 400 but it has a pool if your interested in that,as far as i know these are the best value gyms in the city centre
