Pains in feet when jogging

    Hi guys,

Need some help on this or a recommendation on who I should go see.

I have always had this issue however it seems to have got worse over the last year(when I have put on weight and only got back running after 1.5 years out)

Basically when I jog I get sever pain in the soles of my feet after about 60 seconds. The pain goes after about 30seconds once I stop. I do not get the pain walking.

I have a pair of asics with a pair of sorbothane insoles however the pain is still there. I find if I use a cross trainer there is no pain.

I am assuming I need a set of insoles shaped to my foot. Anyone recommend a specialist in or around north county Dublin or the city centre? Would my local physio be the best person to go too?

I went to a physio a number of years ago and she gave me calf stretches to do which I still do however does anyone have any other calf stretches they would recommend?

    Thanks
