Interesting (or not) placing of Ryback in amongst the Smackdown boys.

Maybe a three way with Cena vs Ryback vs Punk with Rock as special guest referee. Winner faces Rock (the Champion) at Wrestlemania with Cena winning? They could end the PPV with Cena and Rock facing off/pointing to the Wrestlemania sign.

Im sure they will have a normal 6 man chamber match at the elimination chamber match PPV.

So would Rock be included in such a match? Assuming Brock is at mania, Rock won't be the only special attraction so they don't need to keep him in the background till mania. I would love to see him in a chamber match.

Ooo just looking at the poster is gettin me excited :P Really dont want Dwayne to win at Rumble though if it is Cena V Rock 2 at mania id rather it be as part of a Cena heel turn rather that for the title..

It's happened a few times where the winner has used his match before Wrestlemania.

Also, the poster has both champions in it, so it doesnt mean any match in particular, unless it was non title which would be a huge waste.

Personally, I think Ryback wins the Rumble and goes for Big Show. Rock beats Punk and actually defends at EC (vs Punk, Cena, Ziggler, ehhhh Miz? and someone else), coming in last and not doing much to ensure he doesnt get hurt.

Bear in mind Sheamus was on the poster and main advertisement for Elimination Chamber last year and wasn't even on the card. So normally I wouldn't pay any attention to the poster - plus putting The Rock on there gives a little extra publicity regardless of whether or not he is involved.

I wonder if we will see one or two chamber matches. I think a tag version was mentioned in RAW thread, Cena, Orton and Sheamus v The Shield.

Yeah, I suggested the six man tag inside the chamber. I definitely think we're getting the six of them fighting, so may as well do it as a chamber match given we have a champion and challanger from Raw.

I'd say Orton and Sheamus will be the SD's EC match for WHC title with Big Show, Del Rio and maybe Wade Barrett and Rey Mysterio

I was thinking something like Del Rio, Big Show, Cody, Sandow, Ryback, good mix of heels and face wrestlers.

Maybe Rey and Sin Cara v Team hell no in a tag match as well (not chamber).

EDIT: I see now Ryback was there on RAW when I watched it, thought I read Orton, so swap Randy and Ryback in the above

Can't see Barrett being in it.

The participants were announced for the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match at the tapings last night. I'll spoiler tag them for the time being...

Did Swagger come back as heel or face? The other five guys are all faces, which seems a bit imbalanced. I'm guessing we will get a Wade Barrett vs Bo Dallas match for IC title as Wade is not in the chamber.

It's also the last chance for Ziggler to cash in before WrestleMania. Could definitely see it after the Del Rio-Show match and then he can face the winner of the chamber at WrestleMania; maybe Zigger vs Swagger given their history.

I have no problem with Rock and Punk in a match of their own. Actually i'm looking forward to it.

Thought he has a year to cash it in, because remember Daniel Bryan always said he was gonna cash in at Wrestlemania? And it has been pointed out before they can use it at wrestlemania. And that was when the tournament took place there. Now it takes place later.

Probably not.

After the Rumble, we've got no choice now but to accept Cena vs Rock is happening. People will be more willing to accept it now, given that we've had to accept the results of the Rumble.

I wonder why they wouldn't have had Punk get a dirty win over Rock and be able to brag about it for a few weeks and THEN drop the title to Rock at Chamber. Since we're getting Punk/Rock II straight away, and given it's likely Punk loses, I would have thought it would have potentially had more directions to go had Punk retained at the Rumble and then dropped the belt

At this stage though, I've accepted it's Cena/Rock, and just hope that whatever happens with Punk, they do something interesting with him away from Rock and Cena...

True but it is a B-PPV. Would have no problem with a predictable Rock-Cena rematch at any other PPV other than WrestleMania. At the biggest show of the year I would have liked something a bit different.

Ziggler could cash in at WrestleMania but for some reason I don't see a heel successfully cashing in at WM. Maybe afterwards but it makes sense that he should want to be a champion at WM.

Yeah looks like the EC match is a no.1 contenders match while Del Rio-Show will be a separate match for the title. The winners of both matche face off at WrestleMania which is quite exciting!

Still think they will go the route of Bryan Vs. Kane at WM. Interesting line-up for the Smackdown No.1 Contender EC. With so many faces in it, it's leaning towards either a Big Show or Ziggler champion rather than Del Rio.

Also what's happened to the Sheamus/Orton feud they were hinting towards a few weeks ago, the Rumble was the best place to kick that up a notch and nothing came of it.

I don't know but for the past few weeks its looking like that 3 against The Shield. Orton take seamus's place? He's been attacked a few times now too.

Great that Lesner is back though, probably won't see him till EC now though.

I can only see two possible winners from the SD Chamber match. Numbers one and six. Wouldnt have expected any of the guys involved to be competing for the title at Wrestlemania.

Using the chamber match to pick a no 1 contender match is an interesting idea and the tag match is an all round new idea.

Having the title matches always left things awkward thanks to the timing of the ppv.

I think changing up the chamber matches this year gives the PPV some freshness and extra appeal this year.

Also the chamber match as a no 1 contender match for the WHC makes that title look more important.

I'm looking forward to it, made even better by the fact its on sky sports and not box office.

PWInsider is reporting The Shield vs. John Cena, Ryback and Sheamus at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will be inside the Chamber structure. This would be the first time a six-man tag match has taken place inside the Chamber.
Their report suggests that the match would be conducted under rules similar to the old War Games: The Match Beyond. The Chamber was actually created after Triple H pitched using the Wargames double ring cage structure, only to have the idea shot down and the Chamber created instead.

One of those six are getting a title shot at Mania. The obvious picks there seem to be Henry (who is destroying everyone) and Swagger (given the promo on Raw, a feud with Del Rio seems obvious and imminent).

Although as much as I wish that rumor about the 6 man tag being in a chamber match, surely WWE would have advertised that long ago as it is a fairly big selling point.

It would make sense to have it in an EC, that way they could really play to the advantage the shield would have if it ended up 2 on 1 or 3 on 1, etc.

I think it chamber match has Henry all over it.

The Swagger promo last night was good, the twitter reaction was hilarious. No doubt it was a tad bit xenophobic and racist but good anyway!

I love for Jericho or Bryan to win but I think Ziggler will interfere somehow to get at Jericho and thus building their potential WM match, Bryan and Kane seem to heading for a feud so dont think they will win so that leaves Henry, Orton and Swagger and Orton could do with a heel turn but my guess is a win for Henry

I would be content if Mark Henry were to win the match, but I really wouldn't like to see Jack Swagger do it. I would just rather watch Mark Henry and Alberto than I would Jack Swagger.
