    So why has this not been moved to the Mayo section yet, what gives this special reverence over other threads posted about Dublin or whatever.

    People from everywhere else get annoyed by the Dublin/Galway/Cork/wherever threads, but a thread about Castlebar brings us all together to celebrate the fact that although we are from many different places and disagree about many different things, at least we're not from bloody Castlebar.
