Wall Mounting TV on stud wall

    Just wondering if anybody can help me. I have a 40 Sony led tv an wish to mount it over the fireplace. The issue I have is the fireplace is hollow wall with studs on each end. Anybody know the best way to mount it. Was thinking of a long wall bracket and using a number of anchor fixings to the plasterboard and spread out the load. Any advice would be much appreciated.
