First date chocolates?

Just looking for a bit of feedback please! Im going on a first date soon. Would it be a bad to idea to bring a gift of homemade chocolate truffles on a first date? I thought it might represent me as im into baking but reading a thread on flowers on a first date it made me wonder if bringing a gift is too much. Thanks!
