xbox disk drive

just wondering were would i get a used disk drive as mine isnt working anymore?its a benq..could i get a lets say samsung version and somehow make it work on my xbox?

when you say its not working what do you mean? is there power in it, does it not read discs what? a little bit more info please! to put a new drive in it you have to get the drive key from the one that you say is not working and put it on the new one! but again more info?

Oh sorry.basically i keep getting the open tray at the dashboard..ive opened the disk tray and cleaned the lens but to no luck..im pretty sure the laser is fried..

Same thing has happened to my xbox drive. But i wont bother replacing the lens or drive. I want to get rid of the console because it is banned from xbox live

I am looking for another phat console, with LT3.0, so i can literally put my 120gb hdd on top, login and update my profile and play backups online. (I know how to burn backups correctly).
