Yea, brilliant album. "All alone in empty house" from 2010 is really good as well.

Cheers, I hadn't got that yet - will definitely add to my wish list.

Sometimes with good music you gotta sit with it.

Frank Ocean is alternative to the vast majority of stuff posted in here. Which i'd file under pop, but hey there ya go.

Well LG you are welcome to change the balance:)
I can't say his music would be something I would listen and in fact never even check until I saw his name in so many end of year lists.not just here but other sites as well but he is a good songwriter ,(time as ghostwriter for justin bieber exempted)

    Bit ignorant here i'm afraid.
Liked cast of cheers and funeral suits though.

    Best promoter - wouldn't have a breeze.

    Best Gig
    Stone Roses - PP
    Mark Lanegan Band - EP
Bon Iver - O2 (Savage gig, even if the sound was a bit ropey)

I've left out some brilliant gigs tbf. There used to be a section for best gig by an Irish artist?

    Great year for music.

I oddly can't edit my own post!
Just want to add Fíonn Regan's new album to the Irish Album selection.

I was listening to one of those BBC6 music playlists on spotify, and a Frank Ocean song (Pyramids?) came on that i didn't like the 1st time i heard, and while i didn't love it this time, i certainly didn't hate it. I liked the 1st half, but it went on for ages (9 mins or something!)
