Multiple Gym Membership

I am on the road a lot (Waterford/Tipperary area) and I want to be able to use a gym depending on the area I am in without having to fork out hundreds for multiple gym membership.

Are there any other people in this position? Any creative solutions? Is there any type of membership card that can be bought that would be valid in a number of gyms?

Can you look into pay as you go gym sessions for gyms around the areas you travel? I know its a bit more expensive but its still cheaper than forking out several gym memberships, I dont think there is a blanket "one card fits all" gym option but I do know Kingfisher in Waterford has a pay as you go option, surely a few more gyms on your route have this option, too. Good luck. :)

kingfisher is a rip off ,its 10e for one go.if ya go like 3 times a week there its 30e ,youd be better off to get a membership overall.

jimmy paynes gym on the northern industrial estate in waterford is 120 a year, compact but has every thing ya need ,and goldstone is i think 250 a year, not too bad.youd be better off paying that rather than going to a pay as ya go one, works out the same.

I must look in to that one as I would be passing the northern ind est regularly.
    Thanks.

€10 is anything but a rip off.

Have you any idea the cost in running a gym? You can't survive as a big operation charging lads €3 a go. It's less than the price of 2 pints and a positive step towards improving health and fitness.

probably more people would start using it if it was cheaper.

as i said, lad would be better off getting a membership rather than paying a tenner a go, especially if he went 3 times a week.i think kingfisher is the only place in waterford does pay as you go. waterford crystal used to do it,was 5e a session.
