Losing rapid weight?

I have been slowly bulking up over the last few years. I'm not getting my heavier but people have said I look bigger. I was playing a lot of sport, but now I'm playing none. But in the last few months people have told me I look like I've lost weight... Now that would be good if that's what my intentions were but obviously they weren't.
I was always a size 32 waists but lately I need a belt.

Anyway I thought that lack of playing sports would make me be putting on weight, not lose it.

I'm don't really care tbh, but I can't understand why??
    Any ideas?

If you haven't cut down on your food intake drastically it could be anything ?

    Type 1 Diabetes ? ( happened me - same 32" - needed belt etc)

    Cancer ? (hope not )

Head to a doctor when they open again

    Unfortunately we can't discuss that.
    I doubt Cancer.
Diabetes you'd never know. Would actually make a lot of sense. Similar story with a friend. But we can't get into that!

I was more wondering about training habits? Would it make sense from a metabolism point of view perhaps?

I know it's not as obvious as I'd originally believed!

Chances are you are just losing the muscle mass you had built up previously making it more noticeable to your friends.

I too have found that when I stop exercising for a while my chest and arms lose definition and I don't appear as broad as before.
Maybe have a look at your food intake and reconsider sport. No harm in seeing a GP for advice on exercise if it has been a while, but I would not jump to conclusions about anything medical just from apparent weight loss.

    what do the scales say

This happens me aswell when i stop training for a bit, with the lack of training your appetite decreases,so carb and fluid intake might be down a bit.And as a result you probobally dont look as "full" as you should/have been.

As the last poster said what does the scale say?

The last two times I weighted myself (I just did it there) I've been exactly 13 stone. I was over 14 very recently. It could vary between 13'10 and 14'2. I have probably only been to the gym a handful of times during this month, but still. It takes so long to build the weight where the hell did it just go so quickly!?

Shouldn't the lack of Cardio obviously be helping me to retain the weight, rather than burn it!

The muscle mass you have gained with training is still there, just "deflated" if you will.Your diet has alot to do with this at the moment.....load up on clean carbs and your muscles will start to look "fuller" again.
The bulk of the weight you have lost is just water.
