In The King and I, when Yul Brynner is singing "Is a Puzzlement" he actually sings "If allies are strong with power to protect me" and not "If Elisa's strong with power to protect me". Strange the way things just dawn on you in the bathroom after two decades... Now I dont need to wonder who the hell Elisa was anymore.

I asked the lady in the local pharmacy, if I needed Viagra, could I get it over the counter, she replied, "well, it varies, maybe if you take two you could"

I've just learnt something random, useless, and therefore priceless: Letters in Morse code are not assigned dots and dashes at random. There is actually a map thing that helps you make sense of it.

I learnt something for mah edumakation today!

The word watch (clock thing on your wrist) is the same as the word watch (looking at something).

    Yep, from the wiki page

"Standard Yakult (excludes variations such as in Yakult Light) contains:

Sugar (sucrose, dextrose) to balance sourness with sweetness.
    Skimmed yak's milk
    Natural flavours
Live Lactobacillus casei Shirota strain, 6.5 billion per 65 mL bottle (concentration of 108 CFU/mL)"

    Avocados grow on trees

Knowing avocados only from the supermarket shelf, I had never given much thought to how and where they actually grow ...but in the back of my mind I was convinced that they'd be some ground hogging vegetable like pumpkin or zucchini.

So when (a few days ago on holidays) somebody pointed out a tree in their front garden and called it an avocado tree I thought they were pulling my leg ...apparently not :o

I discovered figs grew on trees and was similarly shocked. Again, from seeing a fig tree and asking whether it was a gooseberry bush! :D
I always thought Newton was some sort of genius when the apple fell on his head, but really, the amount of Aha moments you can get from trees is not to be sneezed at!
Btw - figs are green! :)

Fine, I drank a lot of it when young, and couldn't resist the temptation to taste it as it made my baby look sooooo blissful. Surprisingly sweet.
