I'm relatively new to Limerick and the Limerick forum so I hope this hasn't been done before, but anywho.

Would there be any interest in a Limerick skill-swap thread like they had/have going in the Galway city forum? http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055936165

To start off I can offer bicycle repair, restoration, maintenance or assembly (basically anything mechanical to do with two wheels and no engine).

I'd be interested in intermediary french lessons or beginner spanish lessons or learning anything else that might be at all interesting really.

might be not exactly what your looking for but this Crowd
tends to do different things, electronics, lockpicking, homebrew and various other things. They appear to be like a hackerspace type of group.

A novel idea OP and a good time to start this kind of idea. It is not in any way related to bullets hackerspace tho....sorry.

Can I ask tho, without some sort of money or at least credit system, you have to match up French teachers with punctures. How do you handle a 3 way for example?

Might be worth starting a LETS scheme in Limerick City.
Makes it much easier to trade locally.

Only link I can find for now
