Would you "trade up" if you had the opportunity?

Would you dump your boyfriend/girlfriend if you had an offer from a much more attractive person?

To the guys would you dump your girlfriend if a Georgia Salpa with a good personality wanted to be with you.

To the girls would you dump your boyfriend if George Clooney wanted to be with you or whoever you think is ridiculously handsome.

Never dated a boyfriend/girlfriend - I'm not sure I'd know where things go.

Another thread about infidelity. You really need to work it out.

Not infidelity this time. This time it's about dumping your partner first.

If there were someone I wanted to be with more than who I am currently with then I would of course makes moves to try and make that happen. It certainly has not occured yet and I have no reason to even begin to suspect it might. I can not even imagine who or what might make me even consider it. The bar for me is already set very high indeed.

If however you are asking if physical attractiveness alone is the criteria that is likely to ever lead me to such a decision then no - it would take a lot more than that and I can think of no person in my own life or on the TV/Cinema screen I currently find more or even close to as attractive as who I am currently with.

I love the way you assume the hot girl needs a personality upgrade as well!

Many men wouldn't be that into Georgia Salpa due to her below par personality. Just want a good example of an attractive woman including an attractive personality.

I'm sorry, but what the hell does anyone on here know about Georgia Salpa's personality?

From what I can tell from hearing her speak she has an annoying personality. Her looks are incredible though.

So you make the judgment that she has a sub-par personality from watching her on telly? That is lame.

I would imagine that due to her ridiculous good looks, and the fact that people have probably slobbered all over her and done whatever she wanted her whole life, that underneath it all she may be quite a boring, uninteresting person. I could be wrong but I've met girls like that before.

Good looks don't always mean good personality.

Aw. That was extremely sweet :)

If you thought the new person could make you happier than the person you're currently with then yeh you'd consider moving on.

If not, then why would you bother.

You can look at pretty girls on the internet any time you like. Looks attract you to someone, personality makes you fall in love with them.

Sweeping generalisations like this show more about you than them.

Can Georgia Salpa knock together a daycent ham sandwich?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭RossFixxxed

I'm nearly 11 years with my GF, there is absolutely no way I would trade. Frankly it would be a trade downwards were I to do so. I'm totally smitten.

Why is that lame, from seeing her in reality tv and the way she interacts with people and laughs at strange moments I can be fairly certain she has an annoying personality. I've seen enough evidence that she is a sap. A sexy sap nonetheless.

Yes I would, I'm in desperate need of a proper jiving partner, as opposed to the current one whose coordination resembles that of an octopus .

I never said I know her, however I've seen enough evidence that she has an annoying personality. People with good personalities wouldn't be as irritating as she was on big brother and the salon. She didn't have anything interesting or funny to say whereas the majority of other contestants did. That's not a once off, on any interview I've heard her speak she has nothing interesting to say, she fills the silences with an annoying laugh.

I genuinely thought this was going to be about cars... I'll go now...

Also, Brian2208. Google Georgia Salpa -> Images -> take the rest of the morning for yourself :pac:

Even some of her interviews, things shes been quoted as saying, she comes across as a not so nice person

She's the Prime Minister of Ingushetia - Ingushetia is near Georgia so the confusion is understandable.

Am I really the only one who thinks Georgia Salpa is nasty and fake looking?

Wouldn't trade my OH for her in a million years. Or anyone else for that matter, as far as I'm concerned I've hit the jackpot and I can't see that changing.

I'm single right now so if I was given the chance to trade up from Palmela and here five sisters to Georgia Salpa I suppose I would.

I wouldn't regard her as much of a trade up over any of the women I've seriously dated though. She's got big boobs and nice eyebrows but she's not Helen of Troy, that is not a face that would launch a thousand ships.

I'm also slightly worried for you Gauss if you really think in terms of 'trading up,' it's not pokemon.

I don't think in terms if trading up, I overheard some girls in work speaking this way which inspired the thread.

The problem is it's very risky to trade up without extensively test driving the new model first. That would be quite tricky to accomplish, not to mention not being very nice on your current partner.

Also I think your example of Georgia Salpa is a bad one. She is a smoker after all so that's her immediately gone.

Relationships are like platform games. Each time you complete one you move up a level until you are faced with the big bad boss at the end that you must destroy with barrells or by simply jumping on his or her head several times.
