Owl myself, day doesn't really start for me until 11am, that would be the time I'd get up most days should I win the lotto.

I'm definitely a night-owl. Also love early mornings. That time of day when it feels like you have the whole world to yourself, can't beat it :)

Oh, you think darkness is your ally. You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man. By then, it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you because they belong to me.

Both, I work late and early, and in between.

No poll option for me OP:(

I predict Night Owl is going to take a huge lead until about 7am when those dreadful morning people show up and skew the poll :p

Owl too, larks are for old people.

I think the internet should have a closing time, like pubs. I would vote for whoever introduces this.

Definitely an owl. I work until 3am so I'm always up until all hours. Hate early mornings.

Yeah, but that'd just leave us with streets full of people all jumped up on cat pictures at 3am, arguing about pointless things and looking for a place to get another few minutes of 9Gag or a quick check of Facebook.

Owl, which helps with working nights and means I can stay in bed all day and no one can judge me :D

Well it's just gone past 1am and I'm up at 6:30am, so definitely an owl. I find it very hard to go to bed, I know I should but I always feel like I'm missing out on something. I sit up and maybe do something/surf the web without any real intent/watch mindless TV etc.

I find it very difficult to haul my ass off to bed :(

Poll will obviously be very skewed until later on today.

I'm definitely a night owl. Just means I get very little sleep during the working week.

Night owl - I've always had trouble getting out of bed in the morning. I struggle to get into work for 9.30am despite living a walkable distance from the office, and tend to get my best work done after 3-4pm.

My broadband just cut off half way through 'We don't need another hero' by Tina Turner. I think it might be a sign.

    Back now though.

I go to sleep at about 4 every night and get up at 9. What does that make me?

    I think you're normal.

But that's not necessarily a good thing.

Night Owl definitely, but I still get up early, except on weekends, I hibernate then

Well my idea of normal is sitting in my underpants at 1.37am eating cheese singles and listening to the Top Gun themetune at full blast.

I am definitely an early bird.
I am at my most productive in the morning then I gradually get more tired til bedtime.

I tend to be in bed before 12am most nights, but today just ran away with me... it is well past my bedtime!

My most productive hours I've found are 7am to about 1pm and 10 pm till about 3am. However cause I stay up lated I generally dont get up until 11am so I miss most of the first productive period.

    Cursed.

Na, I know better than that. Cheese can leave an awful stain on leather seats.

    I. . . . . umm . . . . may have. . . . years ago.

But there was a perfectly good explanation for it, honest.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,572 ✭✭✭✭brummytom

I woke up at 3pm and will probably go to sleep about 5/6am, as I have done the past week.

I'm sure I'm more productive at night.

Went on a holiday to Scotland with a then girlfriend for a couple of days years ago.

We were up around Uig and couldn't find a place to stay so had to eat and sleep in the car that night. After came home had to change the car because I could never get the stain out of the seat, the cheese stain I mean.

    I want to think of a witty comment but the only one I can think of is this;

    I'm sure it was cheese:rolleyes:

Which is quite poor and not funny at all..

Yeah, the story would have better if his girlfriend turned out to be a man, like in the crying game, any way where to I hope you didn't cheddar tear over the cheese stain

Good story though, thanks for sharing :pac:

Ditto for me OP. Got back up out of bed because I hate leaving anything unfinished. I'll be analysing a problem in my head while in bed and then when I come up with a solution I can't wait til morning to test my theory... :o

    Night owl.

How sweet it is to procrastinate in your bountiful bosom AH- your cup(s) runneth over with stupid threads that compel me to waste precious sleeping time.

I'm both, but since work finished up till feb I've been getting up late at like 10, I'm usually up till four am at least

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,493 ✭✭✭DazMarz

Night owl. Can cope with very little to no sleep usually if I've to be up early and stay up for a while. But need usually at least one decent night's sleep per week to avoid crashing completely.

Not a good sleeper; can usually only sleep for 5-6 hours at one time, and I'm pretty fresh after that.

I like it like this, though. Less time wasted, more time to be up and being (un)constructive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭nice_very

ok a joke for all the people awake at this time....

    knock knock
    who's there?
    tu whit to

never knew you were an owl.
