This past Wednesday's N.Y.Times has an article titled "After Storm Work, a Night's Rest on Water". The Empire StateVI is a training ship for the State University of N.Y. that is being used as a floating hotel for government workers who have responded in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. I mention this because if memory serves me correctly, the ship paid a courtesy call to Cobh early in this past summer. nytimes.com/cityroom
