I've been able to find out details online of the transmitters at the Athlone and Summerhill TX sites, I know about the Marconi, Brown Boveri and Continental 317C 2x50kW at Athlone, as well as the old Continental 2x300kW rig and the current 300kW TRAM 300L at Summerhill.

I haven't had much luck with the Tullamore site. Any details on the transmitter at this site? Was it replaced during the refurb in 2004? All I can find is that it's possibly 2x250kW units.

No it wasn't replaced during the mast refurb. I'm sure I have pics of the TX somewhere on a hard drive but can't locate them right now.
There is some footage on Youtube from the time it was switched off

It was interesting watching the work on the mast (was it really that long ago?). They would attach a temp staywire to the mast just above or below the stay that would be removed then drop the stay wire and lay it out on the ground and replace the insulators. Quite time consuming.
