Back to £195. (£199.88 including vat change) Just ordered! Think I may cancel though as I don't need it and I def can't afford it:o

Edit - Ahhhh Feck Dispatching soon....will have to decide quickly whether I want it or not! Anyone have any idea where I would get a cheap but good keyboard for this. Had been thinking of getting a netbook for college and this might do instead.

    Hey guys
when ordering, if you give a Irl address does that affect the cashback availability i.e. ordering from a uk supplier but from Ireland.
Do I still get the cashback, and is it in euro or stg?
Also, can the VAT be reclaimed on this purchase?
    Thanks
    ArtyM

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,800 ✭✭✭The Guvnor

Yes it can be reclaimed but Amazon will also set you up for Vat free purchasing if you qualify.

It appears to change to the £195 briefly! £290 now.

I have one in my basket and iirc the price in the basket changes when they change the price of the item.

Oh please find it in your heart to forgive us for misleading you, that was not our intention.

Back up to £299.99 and white is now £238.

Does Amazon have a script altering the pricing or is there an army of people changing prices all day? :D

I will keep an eye on this and if I catch it at 195 I am buying it! :)

That doesn't apply to electronic goods with memory like tablets , laptops, cameras etc...As far as I can remember...

I bought one yesterday in carphone warehouse here in Swansea for £195, anyone get there cash back yet and is it in a cheque or online vouchers or what?
    Cheers.

Check stock online before you go, they were basically sold out (except for some awaiting collection) at 5 o clock today.

How would find out if you qualify?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,800 ✭✭✭The Guvnor

Very simply Bebo - if you are in Ireland and buy from amazon in the Uk and have it shipped to Ireland and have a valid Irish vat number you will avoid the vat at point of purchase.

Any offers in South Ireland ? Best i saw was 309 in Argos, with the 50 eur cashback available after... Which is better for me than driving Dublin to Newry. Alternatively anything better online anywhere ?

It's the same link, the price and supplier changes constantly as stock comes and goes. You just need to keep checking unfortunately.

BTW, Amazon doesn't automatically show you the best price, so it's worth looking at other sellers just under the price displayed.

Kenny has just demonstrated the third rule of BA.

Depends on which is more important to you; the tablet, or the bargain? :D
