Mod: No animal cruely or animals being mistreated in general..

    I know this person.
He went with the shaved head look recently.
I think he looks like the superstar The Rock.

A man has been charged with dangerous driving after being stopped in Dundee with snow covering almost his entire front and rear windscreens.

Police said it was "about the most extreme example of lack of preparation" that they had ever seen.

Officers said the man had been driving with "practically zero-visibility" when stopped.

The incident took place in the Dunsinane Industrial Estate on Thursday.

Anyone remember Rebecca Black's "Friday", a decade ago, and wonder what she's doing now? Me neither, but here she is regardless with an anniversary remix:

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

On seeing that footage, with the other ships nearby and the amount of time they seemed to have to abandon ship, I didn't imagine that there would be fatalities. That video ends with someone casually recording the sinking from another ship, well clear. A genuine WTF incident, then. :(

But it's hard to judge the scale.
Waves have this odd fractal-like quality whereby they can look the same viewed from any distance.

Ukrainian owned, Palau flagged 45 year old vessel.
Making waves in your bath tub would probably have been enough to make that happen.
Could also have been badly loaded

The vessel was only built for river transport and should never have been in open water, let alone in stormy weather. It was never designed to support its weight in swells like that! It wasn’t the size of the waves but the distance between them that caused the break!

All that coupled with this from the article in the below link; "It has since emerged that port officials from Georgia last year found that the Arvin was structurally unsound, with deck corrosion and poorly maintained weather hatches supporting calls at the time to condemn the ship"

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ At least it's free of Bears!
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-56136249
A woman in Alaska says she "jumped up and screamed" after she was attacked by a bear while using the toilet.

Shannon Stevens sustained a puncture wound while using a remote outhouse toilet at Chilkat Lake last weekend.

After hearing her scream, Ms Stevens' brother went to see what had caused the injury, only to find a bear's head in the hole of the toilet.

Ms Stevens says the wound was caused by either a bite or a swipe from the animal's claw.

She was spending the weekend in a yurt with her brother Erik and his girlfriend when the incident occurred. Earlier in the evening they had cooked sausages on an open firepit.

"I got out there and sat down on the toilet and immediately something bit my butt as I sat down," she told the Associated Press news agency.
