    Hey.
    Should i be eating carbs after a workout? Some people tell me i should and some tell me i shouldnt...opinions?

    To lose weight you simply need to be in a caloric deficit. Having food after your workout will not be the deciding factor in your weight loss, having a caloric deficit will.

    Weights mainly..maybe a small bit of running

    If you're training very intensely or every day or multiple times per day, you will need carbs to replete glycogen in time for next workout.

    However, if you are training every second day with weights (e.g. powerlifting type stuff 3x/week) you will not actually need carbs for glycogen replenishment.

    Seeing as your goal is to lean out, best bet would proably using some protein + fat combo postworkout rather than a big feeding of carbs. Personally, I like some coconut milk + scoop protein.
