Tonight's WWE RAW will take place from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Confirmed for tonight's show is an appearance by Vince McMahon and The Muppets as Social Media Ambassadors. We also know that injured WWE Champion CM Punk will be appearing. Advertised locally is Big Show and Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus and John Cena plus Ryback vs. CM Punk, which will likely be changed.

WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight:

    * With CM Punk injured, will we know more about the fate of the WWE Title?

    * Is John Cena set to capture the World Heavyweight Title?

    * Who is next in The Shield's sights?

    * Will AJ Lee pick up another win in the Divas division?

    * Which WWE Superstar needs to gain momentum the most going into TLC?

    No matches advertised.......... again.

    So here are some suggestions:

I would like to see Sin Cara v Dolph Ziggler

John Cena v Sandow as I never got to see it on main event.

    BWEasel do your stuff!

I'm sure we will more of Brad Maddox tonight. I wonder will he become like a Heath Slater, and get beaten by a different superstar weekly.

No advertised matches, nothing to really build on from last week, competing with probably the biggest NFL game of the season so far... This could be a spectacularly low rating.

I'm actually getting up to watch both Raw and NFL tonight, I really hope Raw can pull together something interesting but I've a feeling they've pretty much abandoned any hopes of decent ratings and PPV sales til Rumble time.

My brother Sky+ing it for me is going watching the Dark Knight Rises instead and has asked me to go halves for HIAC ppv. He is quite indecisive.

Hope we get some more Bishop Brennan being kicked up the Arse promos from Sheamus tonight. :D

I havent seen any WWE since Ryback got screwed by Punk in Hell in a Cell. Anybody give me a quick run through of what has happened since? I know going by WWE probaly not a lot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,206 ✭✭✭✭Rjd2

Ziggler is a great in ring worker but his promos at times can be generic hell 101 type stuff.

Sheamus is a very mean person.

@WWESheamus: Last week on @WWE #RAW I kicked Bishop Brennan up the arse. Tonight i would give Fr. Jack's brrrick to #Brogue @wwethebigshow

    Ok

The Shield and Punk have both denied they were working with each other. The Shield have claimed they interfered because they are for justice and it was unfair Punk had to defend his title in such tough circumstances. They have beat down Orton, and Ryback but he got his own back last week on Raw where he smashed up Ambrose.

Punk was meant to fight Ryback at hiac but cos of injury, we now have The Shield v hell no and Ryback. The Shield had beat down hell no last week btw.

Miz is now face, cut some promos on Punk etc.

Dolph has to defend his briefcase at TLC againt Cena.

Sheamus v Show have been feuding.

Not a lot else really worth banging on about.

Punk beat Ryback and Cena at the S.Series with the help of the Shield who may or may not be with Punk(they are). Punk is out of TLC with a legit knee injury. Sheamus is still feuding with Big Show, Dolph still has his briefcase and wwe are waiting for Rock to return in the new year. Rovert has disappeared too

My brother just asked why doesn't Dolph cash in the briefcase before having to defend it at TLC, fair point tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,268 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Kofi just has no charisma or personality as a wrestler. So bland.

I seem to have missed something. When did punk get injured? Legit or storyline? And what's up with him.

Because that would be too logical for the WWE

Legit injury. Down to wear and tear i'd reckon.

Ah cheers. How long is he out for? If its a while will he have to drop the belt? Although I doubt they ever would considering the run he's on.

What a strange ten minutes. Why stick another tiresome Vince/Vickie segment in the middle of the entrances?

that "I'm Sorry" bit from Cena is headed straight to Gif Town

That wooden leg comment by Lawler and the awkward silence after was brutal
    Just give up King

Apparently gifs are illegal, I was learning about copyright in school. But rejecting A.J is illegal-ER.

Im really confused with the commentary the last couple of weeks. Who is meant to be face and heel? It seems cole still sides with the heels more but then for some reason they chop in and out quite a bit

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 922 ✭✭✭MyBrokenKnees

Watching the match on the app now during the ad break with King and Cole very cool I have to say.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,513 ✭✭✭✭briany

Did Cole say North Prince George's street?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,268 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

It amuses me that Brad Maddox keeps appearing. He should show up every week in a different role.

Brad Maddox is no Dangerous" Danny Davis!!

Maybe he'll join the Natalya Foundation with The Great Khali and Hornswoggle as well!

    I've just had a theory.

Antonio Cesaro has never been beaten for the US title by an American, is this making way for a certain All-American American return with a face-turn?

Of course sure didn't you hear those hilarious jokes he made? Team Facialhair carried that interview.

Am I being overly optimistic in hoping for a Ziggler cash-in here? Or will this simply be another "OMG Cena lifted the Big Show for the first time ever!!" moment?

I was surprised to see Dolph jump into the ring afterwards. I thought it was getting a bit messy but was glad to see that Sheamus and Big Show just kinda stayed far apart fighting.

I think gimmick has lost his smile.

Not at all, its that I alwys judge raw by the amount of posts here and whether Ill watch or not. Generally when I check at 10am and there are 100+ posts means something of note is there worth seeing. When I see 30 odd, which has been happening an awful lot lately, its a firm indicator of a poor show.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,404 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

Pretty much nothing of any real importance happened last night. Definitely just treading water until January.
Nice pop again for Ryback though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,029 ✭✭✭PinkFly

I really enjoyed the last part of the of the show, the amount of rivalries in the ring at the same time was great!

Raw last night happened. That's about the best one could say about it.

Really, I can't think of one thing which happened whereby if someone missed the show, they missed something vital for the PPV.

EDIT: I will say I did love The Shield promo with the handheld camera, cutting between different shots. Really well directed.
