    Hi,

The Carlisle Gym (Ben Dunne) in Dublin is doing a deal whereby 2 can join for EUR 395 - it is EUR 235 for one person.

I am hoping to join either this evening or as soon as possible - would anybody like to join with me to save a small bit? We can just meet up at the door.

    Thanks

Hi there. I'm thinking of joining a gym alright but have other ideas, personally.

However I'd advise you to post another thread here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=252

    Good luck...:)

    Hi,

I will get involved in that other thread - a lot of action on it!

I am new to boards so the advice is appreciated.

    Cheers ;)

Hi - My daughter wants to join Carisle, so you can both join together to take advantage of the deal. P.M. me your details and I shall arrange to meet you there with her.

How busy does this gym get? are there many power racks?

    would people recommend it?

Odd sort of zombie thread, but:
It's very busy on a Monday for some reason, but even in the 5-7 period it's usually fine, no lines or anything, but you'll often have to keep an eye on something so you can hop in when its free. There are only three proper squat racks, which is probably the one thing I'd really fault them for. There are three smith machines as well if that'll do you.

Thanks Zillah, i will be going around 7am - presume will be quiet at that time so 3 squat racks may do
failing that is there enough barbells knocking about and some space to do deadlifts?

    Yes and yes.

I'd rather jump into a frozen lake than go to the gym at 7am so I haven't a clue how busy it would be :pac:

I don't like crowds or waiting, in and out
evenings for a bit of cardio and cooking!
