Here on boards asking -Does anybody actually know anybody who think the world will end on dec 21st , even a random internet poster would do at this stage. I've yet to hear of a group, cult, guru, blogger, tv personality etc that is calling it the end.
Experts on the Mayan Calender say nothing to do with us.
New Agers are on about something else.
It's like a hoax within a hoax, maybe on the night the man who started it all will finally show face and tell us all how he tricked the world into thinking there was a group of people somewhere who thought the world was gonna end.

I'm honestly sh/tting myself I really don't know why because I've never paid any notice to any other "the world is ending" stuff, but I just have a bad feeling about this. Especially with the extremely high levels of natural disasters that have occurred in the last decade

I'm not doubting you, I personally know someone who is fearful of the this date, they're afraid because of all the hype. I'm asking does anybody know a group/organisation/person of influence, that says it's the end. Where is all the hype coming from? All you ever hear is people saying "they say it's the end of the world" Who is the "they" in question?.
Could it be that no "they" exists and all you have are people who think or say a "they" exist.
