Storage Heating in apartment - average ESB bill?

House hunting at the moment and I've seen a place I really like, unfortunately it has the dreaded storage heaters. For those of you living in houses/apartments with storage heaters, what are your ESB bills like? we changed to storage heaters and over a year the extra electricity cost is half what a tank of oil was costing is for a year.
and we havent evet got a night rate meter yet, but are doing so now. i expect to see even cheaper bill then.
oil and gas have just got too expensive.
