So frustrating. Could have been up inside the top 4k but for a few bad decisions. First was to sell Rafael for Enrique. Second was to drop Begovic for Jaas.

That's not even taking Nelsen into account.

At least I got the captain pick right.

50 points with only 4 performers in Guzan, Caz, Michu and Rooney. Need my captain Sess to do something against Reading.

28 points on my bleeding bench in Puncheon (11), Shawcross (9) and Bassong (8).

52 pts but good enough with only 9 playing
three stoke and michu capt getting all my points more or less
suarez walcott bale fletch and azpilic not playing

    sess has been disappointing

72 overall with Holt (14) and Clyne (10) on the bench, don't usually play Clyne but Holt got dropped to the bench last minute for Sterling even when i have a good week this game finds a way to frustrate me.

74 with Berbatov to play, this and United winning has made my day one to remember :)

Only 1 bonus point, but at least it went to cptn Johnson, so made it 2. 57 with Berbatov, Mignolet and Johnson to play. Not great, need Johnson to do well again Tues night, and make my gamble on him fully pay off. But 16 pts so far from him is a great start.

68 with Ba, Cuellar and Mignolet to play again.

To be honest, I'd be delighted if Ba didn't travel tomorrow. Nelsen to come in with 9 if so.

All three were good decisions! Rafael had a horror shown and looked like Smalling was going to take his place. Jussi was probably a better bet for a cleanie. Finally, most people who had Nelsen had many better options and so benched him.

It's just on these occasions, it didn't go your way. Great score though!

Yea I was happy with my choices going into the gameweek. Annoying though the way it could have been so much better.

I'm averaging 56 points for the season. 71 is my highest score. It's taken me a few years to realise that getting a huge score isn't necessary to do well. Being 10/15 points above average consistently is the way forward.

Has anyone seen any reports on whether Fletcher is likely to return for Reading?

    Nail on head.

Even when it comes to listening to folk here, I'd pay a lot more attention to posters here who consistently get about 125-150% of the average score as opposed to those throwing out their big 70-90 point scores every now and then.

if he was given until just before kick off on saturday you'd have to think he'd be ready for a tuesday game.

would love if he was left out of the squad because i have michu as vc but i don't mind too much if he starts because he could get a couple against reading. my fear is he comes on for the last few minutes.

I'm not wanting him to play for the same reason.

Wouldn't read so much into the timing of the fitness test. Probably as much to do with the desparation of Sunderland than anything else. Important thing is he failed it. Heres hoping anyway.

A huge score is necessary every once in a while to boost you from an alright position to the perfect position. After that it's a case of staying ahead of the average. If you do that 90% of the time then you'll do very well.

Worked for me last year and it's working again now.

People who chase the big score by taking points hits fail the majority of times. It might work once but it's a recipe for disaster, in my opinion.

On 66 points with 1 more to play hopefully. Thrilled with that. Puts me up inside the top 500 of the world which is my highest ever position.

Into the top 100 in the boards league and just outside top 30,000 overall after two decent enough game-weeks before which I'd been getting around the fifty mark.

Averaging 54.4 overall, and comfortably my best season so far.

Green arrows are always welcome. :D

down 2 places in the world for now.

back on top of the Boards League though.

58 for the week...mainly thanks to captain Michu. VP, Tevez, Begovic, Clark and Sterling with the rest of the damage.

let's see what Berba and Cuellar do for the rest of the week.

Disappointed with the BP haul, only the 3 for Shawcross. It's irritating having Begovic, Rafael, and Whittaker with points on the bench. Out of the three, Rafael was the one I contemplated playing the most (predicted plenty of goals, and he's always good for an assist) but I was seduced by that damn DGW and put Cuellar in ahead of him. He better keep a cleanie against Reading.

So that leaves me with 62 with Berbatov, Cuellar, and Shorey to play. 160th in the Boards league, aiming to be back in the Top 100 by the time to Christmas fixtures are over.

63 points with another 6 coming off the bench. Could do with Fletcher not playing tbh, Rafael would come in for a juicy 9. Not a bad haul in total, seeing as I didn't get a single BP! Should get back into the top 5,000 this week.

Anyone know what happened with Enrique?

about my 5th poor week in a row after a very good october.

really need to turn it around soon!

only 41 so far which is even below the average! have michu as vc to fletcher so might not be as bad if fletcher didn't play, i'd get 12 extra for michu and 1 for crouch, alternatively, fletcher starting and scroing a goal would get me at least 12 but my fear is fletcher coming on with a few mins to go getting me 1 point doubled.

Nelsen second sub can't come in and chose jussi over begovic. another theme from the last few weeks, subs scoring decent but not coming in. might got to paddy powers this week after i select my subs :D

Any word on Fletcher for Wed? Have him as cap and LeFondre as vc  On 46 with them 2 and Schwazer to play

Its on Tuesday night. No word on Fletcher but I think he will play, he didn't seem far off making it for the Chelsea game.

65 points with just Berbatov to play. Hopefully he can nick a goal or 3 tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,748 ✭✭✭Swiper the fox

I'm on 59 with my captain Berbatov playing tonight, took a 4 point hit to bring in Dempsey which worked out well enough as without him I'd only have had 10 players. I'd be pleased if Berba picked up any extra points tonight as that will probably put me over 70 which I will be very happy with,

Any news on Ba's fitness for tonight?

Fletcher not expected to play tomorrow as per Eurosport Uk (on my phone so can't link) think that'd please quite a few including myself

Sean Morrison confirmed out for tomorrow is a pain in the ass for me. His DGW returns 1 point for me, when I have Shawcross and Bassong on the bench!
