    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could explain why a VCL is always recommended between a concrete flat roof and the roof insulation & never (not in the books i'm studying anyway) between an inner leaf of block work & the wall insulation.

Is there not a danger in both cases of moisture laden air passing through to the the cold side of the insulation?

Cheers in advance for any help
