We're having a small xmas party with my knitting circle. We're all bringing something to eat. Xmas is always a nightmare for me and I usually avoid going because of my restricted diet. I can't tolerate gluten and wheat and I've also developed an intolerance to peanuts and nuts. Can anyone suggest something to take along and also cater for my needs?
I used to buy plain salted crisps but all the packets I see now say that there is wheat inside.

How much effort do you want to go to?

Little to no effort: Gluten free dark chocolate rice crispie squares

Lots of effort: Coconut flour brownies: http://fastpaleo.com/coconut-flour-brownies/

I think most rice crispies have gluten.

I have recipes for mocha bacon brownes, berry bark(looks really easy), vanilla been tahini truffles, orange cream/mint melt aways, chocolate orange/mint chip truffles I also have a recipe for flavoured gelatin cubes.

If you or anyone else want any of those recipes give just tell me which ones and I'll post it up.

You can get gluten free ones in healthfood shops.

Truffles sound delicious and indulgent though!

Dark chocolate mousse is also easy and very tasty.

I just said it about the rice crispies because there's so many people just assume the likes of the kelloggs brand is gluten free because they're made from rice.

Just realised that the orange/mint choc truffles have almond butter in them

I'd go for the chocolate bark, you can put in any ingredients you want.
    Here's what it looks like
