Drew Brees have a 'mare, and his record for consecutive games with a td pass is over. Man I never thought I'd see him throw 5 ints in a game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,370 ✭✭✭✭Son Of A Vidic

A shockingly bad 5 Int's from Brees and it could have been 6 only for the offside call earlier . Falcons defense won the game, which is just as well because their offense wasn't great.

Titans... going to get a kicking!

Titans... going to get a kicking!

When is that not the case?

The words I find myself saying most often when watching the titans play

    "f uckin titans"

Tampa at Denver will be a cracker!

Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?

I wasn't impressed with the Falcons, I see why they're not being given the respect they crave.

Saints and particularly Brees himself had a disastrous night going 17-0 down and with 6 INTs (one called back on a flag), 2 missed FG opportunities (the time running out in 1st half, and the sack in the second), and still for all that they were still in the game with 5 minutes to go! That was actually pretty impressive, though not much consolation for them.

I agree, as a Denver fan I think it will show us 'where we're at', ie. are we for real or just pretenders !
Note: I'm on the optomistic side of that last statement tho....

Where is this 8 ints thing coming from? Yes he was picked off on a no play but that doesn't count and even if it did then the last one wouldn't have because it came on the same drive.

Massive game for Chicago v Seattle if we win we should and i say should get a playoff spot no matter what. Packers should beat Vikings handy at home.

6, not 8. I saw him throw 6, and yes, one was called back after the play.

That's pretty bad for a guy who's arguably the most accurate passer in the NFL.

I say this as a sometime Saints fan (though I don't have any one particular team).

Some cracking games this week in particular, Bucs @ Broncos, Steelers @ Ravens and MNF

Every week I keep thinking the Chiefs will turn it around.
Young talented team, great fan base, good coaches, I don't get how they are so useless!
Before the season I reckoned they were going to win the AFC West :o

Hmmm... if I was picking these I'd say:

    Jags at Bills
    Seattle at Chicago
    San Fran at St. Louis
    New England at Miami
    Arizona at Jets
    Indy at Detroit
    Vikings at Packers
    Houston at Tennessee

The 8 was a typo. What I'm saying is if that int on the offsides play happened then the next one would not have happened because they were both on the same drive.

  • Who cares how many he threw brees had one bad game he's still one of the best in the league

The Seahawks pass-rush worries me with the o-line further depleted, losing Lance Louis last week. Hope to see a run-heavy gameplan because their run-defense isn't good, the Dolphins had a lot of success running on them last week. I still like the Bears to win because the defense will cause them problems, just hope they're not forced to pass too much.

I wouldn't count out the Vikings in Green Bay. The Packers were awful last week against the Giants, worst I've seen them play for a couple of years. Maybe it was a particularly bad day, with guys like Clay Matthews out, but they haven't been great all season. I give the Vikings a chance there.

Colts @ Lions, gonna be a tough one for Luck, I'm expecting a high shootout game, hopefully Luck comes out on top.

According to randy moss of nfl network there will be no helmet or jersey patches on the chiefs jerseys for todays game but there may be a moment silence for the general tragedy and not for Jovan Belcher.

Anyone else confused as to why SF-STL is kicking off at 1PM? It should be a late kickoff.

I'm saying it is a 1PM kickoff, but it should be a late kickoff because it's an NFC West matchup.

St Louis is in the same time zone as Chicago and Green Bay.

I still don't see the need for a 12PM kickoff there. For the 49ers players it's like a 10am game, which means getting up at 5am on their body clocks. It's not like there's already an overabundance of late games or anything.

Welker loves playing the Dolphins. Already has 82 yards and a TD.

Brady now has the longest active TD streak in the NFL. On 44 Now.

Welker on fire. Probably revenge towards the Dolphins! Few records for Wes. Fifth 1000 yard season extending Patriots record and ties Jerry Rice's record of 10+ reception games with 17!

Packers have to get rid of Crosby, his confidence is just completely gone and he's going to cost them.
