I hope Cena V Ziggler is a singles match with Ziggler going over Cena getting the win but fear it might be a mixed tag with AJ teaming with Cena and Ziggler with Tammy Snuka

I'd assume Cena/Zigglers will be the Ladder match so that leaves the tables match left as the last gimmick match

The tag division is being held up by Rhodes injury I reckon when he gets the ok for the concussion they'll put the belts on he and Sandow.

As others have said, Ziggler's MitB briefcase would be hanging above the ring. A Ziggler win on PPV against Cena to retain his MitB would do wonders in pushing him imo

See reasoning above for why i wouldn't expect want that.

Throw in Cena's unsuccessful cash in and they may as well scrap the MITB PPV and just bury the match on the Mania mid card.

Ah, only noticed it there but yeah, I'd agree with ya on that, pretty much ruins the concept. Tables match or just a normal match then.

Tbh, Ziggler really needs to come out off this PPV strong to continue this push. His programme with Cena has no doubt helped him out but I fear a loss on PPV without him coming out strong will stop his momentum.

Agree with Dare 2 defy. Cena losing this would be forgotten pretty quickly as Rumble is just around the corner and he'd be an automatic favourite to win it, thereby erasing the loss from the collective mindset of the fans. As an aside, I love when Upper Mid Carders feud with Main Eventers

Is there actual talk of the ladder match though?

Regardless you are right, Ziggler could do with the PPV win - I wonder if WWE have a clue how they are going to have the cash in with Ziggler as holder. At this stage I guess it will come (providing no ladder match) after the WHC chamber match and he will have a short reign before losing at mania or he will actually cash in during Mania (that would be a sweet mania moment).

What if Ziggles won the Rumble.... Went on and LOST in the WHC Main Event and just when it all seems over and done with, cashes the briefcase straight away as the champion is celebrating.

Cena Vs Ziggles will probably be a tables match...with Ziggler winning with a similar kind of finish like when Seamus first won the title (Cena's knee gives out while climbing a turnbuckle or something like that)

Dunno, probably prefer to keep Cena v Rock for Mania, it wouldn't make sense for the Rock to come back and not face Punk as he was the one who took him out and has been bragging about it since.

Their is money to be made from a Punk v Rock rumble match and I expect that is what we will get.

I think Cena could beat Ziggler then cash in MITB at the rumble either after it or before it(making it a triple threat). I know its a World Title briefcase but wwe and logic have never gotten along.

Instead, the main event is now Ryback and Team Hell No verses The Shield in a Six Man Tornado TLC match, where the first team to get a pinfall or submission wins the match.

If that is the case I feel sorry for the shield somewhat as they will go from people everyone is talking about after the main event (assuming they were most likely to interfere and help Punk retain) to having to face 3 already established (his 3rd main events in a row I guess gives big Hungry this accolade) and popular main event wrestlers in their first match on the main roster.

I would wonder if this match would keep its spot as the main event and I would hope that the shield get the win as it would really help them while a loss could hurt them bad.

Just hope that WWE dont get cold feet on Rock vs Punk (at least for now) due to this injury and do something along the lines of giving Cena the MITB briefcase which they ignore is supposed to be for the WHC only and get him to cash in before the Rock shows. Even though if that was the case they could have Rock vs Punk at Mania but for me Rock vs Punk should and I think still will happen at the Rumble (health permitting of course) and that Ziggler shou
ld hold onto his MITB briefcase.

Put Punk on commentary for the match. We know he's well capable.

Anyway, I think this is great news for Ryback tbh. The last thing he needed was a third straight loss to Punk on Pay per view. With Rock and then Elimination Chamber, the earliest he can get his title shot now is Mania, and I'm thinking he should win it there from Punk. Have him enter the Rumble and win it. I was complaining last week about how booking 101 says he should eventually win it from Punk after a chase, and this sets that up perfectly; the third match can be at Mania for that big star-making moment.

I feel sorry for The Shield though; yeah, it's great their debut match will be the main event of a pay per view, but they kind of have to lose for Ryback to maintain momentum...

It's a shame WWE announced the injury, they could have made it into an angle and gotten the same results. Have Punk show up with a doctor's note saying he cant defend at TLC and a legal note saying he cant be stripped or something. Play it like he is faking an injury to avoid having to face Ryback again. Ryback is out for blood while Punk gets to think he is in the clear. Ryback wins the Rumble and it's no secret who he wants at Wrestlemania, assuming Punk is champion.

im hoping Ziggler gets the win and keeps his briefcase especially after an impessive loss to cena in the build up to this so actually hope they dont have this as the main event as i doubt they would have it main event if Cena wasn't going to send the fans home happy. Ziggler main event win would be awesome though.

The new Raw match is a TLC match also though so it does have a chance especially if they are to somehow involve Punk despite his injury considering him/Ryback/The Core is Raw's main storyline atm. Although it would be a heel win to close things out the scene of Punk, The Shield (maybe even Brad Maddox) & Heyman standing over a destroyed Ryback (and fan favs Hell No) could be emphatic enough an image to end things. This would especially work well if they actually put Ryback on the shelf, then as Punk starts his program with the Rock, the shield can brag about how they took out the monster Ryback.

Tangent: Que the Rumble and all 3 members of The Shield clear house together (during the rumble match itself) and look in control until "Feed Me More" hits the arena and the eventual Rumble winner Ryback makes a surprise appearance and eliminates all 3 men. Ryback vs The Shield could even be the feud that keeps him occupied at Elimination Chamber while the champ defends his title pre mania. Going way overboard already but then you could have Ryback vs Punk for the title and maybe The rock vs Brock Lesnar at Mania after lesnar made a Rumble return in the main event to help another Paul Heyman guy and in response to something The Rock said about him in a pre Rumble promo with Heyman. Let Cena taker go at it in another main event while they still can too (though Lesnar could just as easily face Taker).

now back from that Tangent, the third option would be Big Show vs Sheamus main event. I would only see this as a possibility if Cena was losing and Sheamus was winning but even then wouldnt be 100% even though it would be nice to see Sheamus win in the main event and obviously not a bad idea to have the WHC defended in the main event if the WWE belt wasnt an option.

I was going to say I would be surprised to see Rock v Brock or Brock v Taker when Brock is not wrestling on a regular basis and he would need a regular to go against. Then remember HHH and him had a good match even though HHH is not a regular.

unless there was a Punk vs Brock match (Heyman on a poll ha) I wouldnt expect to see Brock vs a regular wrestler as i doubt the WWE would consider it big enough considering how few matches he's gonna have and this is mania we are talking about, Rematch vs HHH or even Cena, a shot at Takers streak or even the clash of the egos with the Rock is all id see them considering.... although this isnt the Brock thread I bumped yesterday so yeah TLC eh

Is Ziggler the first wrestler to have to win/defend the same MITB contract three times? He had to with the first ladder match, then defend v Jericho now try and win it again v Cena.

I agree it's a good situation for Ryback not to have to lose to Punk again, plus I wasn't confident he could handle that match. However, and I'll sound like a fanboy here, to me it stretches credibility storyline-wise that the WWE would allow its champion to miss a PPV due to injury, especially since Vince storyline-wise changed the main event last month because he claimed the champion should have to defend his title.

I don't know how they can give a credible reason for this in their angles. It just seems too obvious that they are protecting Punk for Rock.

I assume The Shield vs. Orton and Hell No in a tables match was going to be on the show before the change? At least there'll be more guys to take big bumps instead of Ryback (especially considering The Shield will want to impress).

Only now i've realised the 6 man tag is a tlc match with pinfall or sub, ffs change Ziggler vs Cena into a TLC and make the 6 man an elimination tables match. A TLC or Ladder match without something on the line feels moronic.
