    noun
    intense anger; wrath.

Are we seriously happy with the name 'Intense Anger Land'? What a stupid name for a country. Any alternative suggestions? Greenland is taken (but it's not actually a country), maybe Potatoland? Guinnessland would be most people's favourite though, I'd guess.

Any ideas? 'Ireland' is an utterly anachronistic and moronic name.

    United Counties of Ireland

We may be angry, but at least we're united in our anger.

Apart from the United Kingdom bit, they aren't United with us.

This was a bad suggestion and I feel bad.

Aren't we the only people who call it "Ireland"? The Brits call it Sathehn Ahland; the Nurn Ahrish call it the Free Steeyit or Aerland; the Yanks call it Eyeyurland; the Ozzies call it Oyahland; the French call it Eerland, the Lithuanians call it Home, etc.
Sure it's grand! Like our roadsigns and spelling, WE know what we mean.

    We should rename it Bertieland.

    He definitely rewrote our history.

Or simply name it. For Sale or Lease.

I'm quite ok with the intense anger and wrath. However, I think this could be an opportunity. We could do something akin to the O2 or the aviva stadium charge a big multinational for us to rename our country after them. It could be for an annual fee.

It would have to be a really big company like Microsoft. We could even change the flag to the windows logo :D.

Kensington fanciest place in London is a dump in Philadelphia, I've cousins there and they would not go there after dark. Funny what you associate with a name I see it as fancy they as a dump.

Dont we already have another name for the country.

    From the consitution;
    We, the people of Éire,
    http://www.constitution.org/cons/ireland/constitution_ireland-en.htm

    From wiki
Éire (i/ˈɛərə/; Irish: [ˈeːɾʲə] ( listen)) is the Irish name for the island of Ireland and the sovereign state of the same name.
