The arrogance of this wagon, didn't even show up for court.
Ms King is now being prosecuted for eight Road Traffic Act offences.

She is accused of: failing to produce a certificate of insurance or certificate of exemption to gardaí within 10 days; using a '05-registered vehicle which had no NCT, failing to produce a driving licence on January 6, failing to produce a NCT cert within 10 days, having no insurance, driving without a licence, failing to produce a licence within 10 days, and driving “without reasonable consideration for other persons”.
    link

Would not be suprised if she gets away with it.

    Never!

It's grand, uncle Gabo will sort it for her, after all she posed no danger to anyone since she's not a young male driver.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 68,317 ✭✭✭✭seamus

The same Twink who decided she was too famous to pay her mortgage and then kicked and screamed when the bank took her to court?

    I, for one, am shocked.

I hope she gets 30 days in prison. That would be quite the hilarity.

    Should get jail.

Being from Northern Ireland I missed out on the Twink thing. Why is this annoying untalented old crow, such a fascination?

There's probably an older generation who remember her for doing something that she got paid to do back in the day but for anybody under 40, they're just sitting back waiting for her next 'car crash' (if you'll pardon the pun), which will be spectacular based on her past performances.

I wonder though, does she know how much she is hated by the public?? Seriously though, does she? She could do with running her peepers on a few of the threads here, she wouldn’t be long finding out what folk think of her

Just google "zip up your mickey" and all will be revealed:D

She has a book out at the moment too I believe. In the new year sales I'd say it will be cheaper than bog roll if anyone wants to save a few bob/give it the attention it deserves.

That is a serious list of infractions. The only thing she is missing is bald tires.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,208 ✭✭✭Fattes

The only thing she is missing is bald tires
, Is that a euphemism for something?

No she has no idea how hated she is, lives next to a friend of mine and is as deluded old school Irish talent as you will ever meet, think Father Ted I made the BBC type joke in real life.

She'd never be jailed, all the other inmates could appeal claiming they were being unfairly punished having to listen to her.

If that was any any of us, they'd be throwing away the keys......a myriad of offenses and here I am studying away for my bike test.

I think she's in a world of sh1t.......and as common as muck to boot, the auld boot.

Are you familiar with how BBC N Ireland have home produced comdey shows for the six counties featuring men dressed up in drag and featuring others from The Hole in the Wall gang?

    Twink is the Irish version.

I don't mind Twink at all, I'd say she was a lasher in her day.. There's lad's up in court regulary for these types of offences and thery don't get locked up..

I love that zip up you mickey call, Its priceless..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,107 ✭✭✭hi5

Yeah, a real charmer is Twink:D

Personally, I wish Twink a long and healthy life so that she can repeatedly make such car crash tv appearances and entertain me with them for years to come.

But that message really shows her up for the fishwife she is, I remember being both shocked and entertained when I heard it for the first time several years ago. Cognitive dissonance or wha'?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 100 ✭✭maidie

OMG what a classy lady!!! First time to hear that tape of phone recording, I wouldn't show my nose outside the door if I was caught leaving something like that, yet she would do anything for attention, I would say she turned the 2 girls against their dad out of her own selfishness... Horrible individual

Ah stop! There's a queue of people in courts all around the country for similar offences and they're not being slagged off like this. I hope she gets exactly the same penalties as anyone else, i.e. a few points and some shouty finger-wagging from the man in the ridiculous wig.
OK, Twink, the panto queen is dire, but panto is dire! And she might be obnoxious in real life, but there are loads of obnoxes around.
Twink's portrayal of the local cummyooniddy radio DJ with Jonathan Ryan was brilliant. The first and best slagging of the acquired D4 pseudo American accent ever.
I'm not taking my picture of Twink down from my bedroom wall for anybody.

No doubt she'll be signing every copy in every bookshop in the country so that they can't be returned to the distributor.

Do these offenses usually demand a custodial sentence?
I mean, would Twink really go down?

My Dad owns a lane in the city that his tenants park in. One day a few years back there was a car parked illegally (right under the Private Property sign), so Dad blocked the car in and waited for the owner to return. Twink rocks up about 30 minutes later, says that as she was in a meeting next door (unrelated) that she should be allowed park there, and ends with "But I'm Twink!". Dad's response: "I'm Brian, so what?".

    Bint.

Anyone who falls back on the 'but don't you know who I am?' excuse to get away with inexcusable behaviour is a complete prat!

RTE thought the whole nation was in love with her until she was the first person booted off that celebrity farmer program a few years ago. Thankfully her appearances on TV since then have been confined to guest slots on chat shows.

She comes across as the person you would least like to be trapped in a lift with - no, make that a dead heat between her and Bill Cullen!

No insurance, no NCT. And her punishment? A €1,000 fine, no ban or points at all.

    An absolute joke.
