A few questions that gave been bothering me :-)

Here's another one...

The prison. Rick is/was a deputy sheriff, living within probably only a few hours drive of this prison (as we saw when he, Carl and Michonne drove back to his home town for supplies, meeting Morgan again), and yet he seemed surprised to see the prison, didn't know the name of it, had never even heard of Woodbury (which seemed to be the name of the town even before The Governer took over) despite living relatively near it...now I know most of us might not be familiar with towns/landmarks that are a few hours drive from our home, but to not even be aware they exist, or heard them mentioned?? Especially a prison that Rick may have helped send several inmates to.....doesn't really add up to me. Even Hershel didn't know the prison was there, and he had lived within a (relatively) short distance of it his whole life! I know it's a programme about a zombie apocalypse, so a certain amount of suspension of disbelief is required, but c'maaan....

And I too would love to know why some people are only seemingly bitten/'turned' by the walkers, and others are devoured like steak tartare.

Beth's music teacher? here's a question, why do they keep letting her sing - I wish Daryl would do his thing with his bow when she starts banging on!

Depends on the speed they are eaten at, im guessing they stop eating when the turn takes place, but if they are eaten quickly then there is nothing left to turn.

The actress who plays her is a popular singer in the U.S. so I'm speculating that her singing a few bars is in her contract...or something.

From the show's perspective however, I agree with you.

AND (exasperated tone!) would the walkers not have heard her banging on the piano in the middle of the night!

Those who are eaten completely are usually being feasted on by a group of walkers and get devoured pretty quickly.

The people who turned probably died of natural causes or were attacked and bitten but managed to escape. Sometimes walkers are eating someone and then get distracted by living people who they go after.
