So Friday is Apples one day sale event. They're not well known for reducing their prices or having sales so anyone have any idea what to expect from this?

Does anyone know if having something engraved by apple delays delivery by much? Or will it affect your warranty or right of return ?

Also there's 1% off iPhone 5, iPad mini and iPad with Retina Display purchases and 2% off everything else if you use www.fatcheese.com . It'll yield at least a fiver. Not much but better than nothing.

Engraving does not affect your warranty, but you do lose out on their 14 day return policy.

I recently ordered on www.apple.ie for my cousin. Got an iPad 4 with her name engraved on it. Ordered it one evening and had it within 10 days.

I bought through Pigsback at 5 points per €1 spent. Works out at over 2000 points so that will pay for one of their megadeals for me

Compared to the German link I had posted, most of there stuff was a bit cheaper but same amount off.

I still bought a new case for my iPad can't wait to get it now :-)

The funny thing is everyone knew in advance that it would be in the 10% range, just like every other year, yet still wait up to express disappointment.

IPads are reduced just not the mini. All the Black Friday sales are disappointing this year.

For some people you just can't criticise Apple at all. That's really obvious in this thread. The sale sucks.

this is actually what i was looking for! i remember them being €229 not so long ago. what a rip off at €269.

apple could up their prices of their consumer range by 10% tomorrow and people will still pay it.
