Thinking of joining the cival defence?

    I have been thinking of joining the cival defence for some time now, I was just wondering has anyone got any tips/ advice for me? I aint even applied yet btw.. :D

    Where do you live? What attracted you to the Civil Defence in the first place?

    I live in Dublin, A lot of people seems to be getting involved in it and I have been looking to join somthing like this for quite a while now..

    I looked through the website and it seems enjoyable, If anythig it would be good to have it on the ol C.V:D

    I'm just wondering if I applied would I be waiting long to get in as I have been lookin at other voluntary things but the Civil Defence looks quite good
