Introductory texts for heavy metal records in peat sediments

    Hi everyone,

    I'm currently doing some research on heavy metal records contained in peat cores (mainly UK rather than Ireland) but I'm struggling to find any good introductory books/articles. I have a large amount of quite detailed and specific texts dealing with various aspects but nothing that just gives me a good grounding in the complete basics.

    Any suggestions on a book(s) that would be good for this sort of thing? I'm completely stumped.
