Talk about an example of obnoxious, pretentious and childish behavior from a grown man. Tool. Real pity nobody went up and stretched him for that. At the very least the director should have taken him aside and told him to calm the fook down.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Its hard to know exactly what was happening that day. He did come out and apologise but the effort he puts into his movies is incredible so its not very surprising he snapped one day.

Thats what would happen in the real world, unfortunately in the world of the movie set, within a week or 2 of shooting a main actor (professional pretender) becomes 100% unsackable for logistical reasons.

The actor will clearly know this, leading to a generally inflated ego spiralling totally out of control resulting in the likes of Bale behaving like a total prick.

OP, do you remember that time you and Hannibal, Face, and that crazy fool Murdock pretended to be volunteers at that inner-city youth centre to stop it being torn down by those crooked property developers? Do you think just anyone could've done that?

Bale is always pretty deep into whatever movie he is doing, no point in being surprised when he goes off on one with some dumb**** who really should know better.

You also get plenty of nice stories about the guy, like visiting the victims of the shooting in Colorado.

Actors are ****ed up in general tbh, anyone would be who had to be one person for work, another person for the public and then an actual real person behind closed doors with a few people you trust.

He does some stupid things, but he is seriously committed. Check out the pictures....

I'd forgive him going off the rails occasionally....

In an interview, star Jeff Morrow said that neither he nor anyone on the film saw the title "monster" until they went to the film's premiere in Morrow's home town. It turned out that producer Sam Katzman had contracted with a low-budget model-maker in Mexico City to construct the "Giant Claw" and no one in the cast or crew had any idea it would come out looking as bizarre and, frankly, laughable as it did. Morrow said that the audience roared with laughter every time the "monster" made an appearance, and he wound up slinking in embarrassment out of the theater before the film was over so that no one who knew him would recognize him.

Many actors are overrated anyhow and for every major part or just a fill in there's probably a few hundred or more chasing the part but good luck to those who can make a living out of acting the bollix .

Look at Daniel Day Lewis in My Left Foot or Christan Bale in The Machinest and then ask yourself is it bollox.

On the set of Marathon Man with Actor Dustin Hoffman , Sir Laurence Oliver who was watching him go through his method acting routine turned around to Hoffman and said '' for gods sake man , just fcuking act will you ''
