removal possible?

Had a full sleeve polynesian tat done about a year ago. Doesn't look as good on my arm as it did when I had it drawn. There's not much I could get done over it so Im just wondering if I could get it removed or lightened enough that it could be inked over. How many sessions, where to go etc?
