    Cheesecake is not cake, it's a dessert, pie or pudding.

    Lidl were selling Christstollen (a German Christmas season cake) the last time I went shopping there. It's vaguely like a really good barm brack. Yum yum!:):)

    Cheesecake has got to be a cake. It says cake in the name! Lets not be too rigid here with defining the categories of deliciousness

    It's not called a cheesedessert or a cheesepudding. What does that tell you? Huh? Huh?

    It's times like these that I miss KeithM89 he would have locked this thread because he hates cake :(

    I don't really understand how anyone could hate cake. He clesrly had deeper underlying issues.

    Cake with a little cake inside it. The outside cake is warm and firm; the inside cake is gooey and slightly hotter.

    Yeah - cake. I hate it. :mad::mad:

    ...malteaser cheesecake...would the malteasers be on top, or would they comprise the base?

    Malteasers crushed into the base and into the cream mixture and then some on top of the cheesecake. Can't do it half-arsed!

    Strawberry cheesecake is amazing.

    Maltesers cheesecake is a gift from god, as it is too nice to have been conceived on this planet.

    I thought they decided Jaffacakes were cakes, because they go hard when they go stale, which cakes do, whereas biscuits go soft...wasn't this officially settled there a while back?
