This may be the first COD I trade in. It's the snipers that are pissing me off, besides the plague of quickscopers they're just far too easy to use in general. Just played a match of tdm on nuketown and five of the other team were using sniper rifles-two quickscopers and three lads hanging to the side of the map facing the garage. On blops you'd have maybe one guy trying that tactic with fairly limited success but here its kill after kill. BLOPs had a much slower pace than this as well, it kinda feels like a Modern Warfare game than one of Treyarchs efforts. Still don't like any of the maps.

These are all COD4 maps....

Forget Treyarch and IW....get yourself a pc and to hell with these 7/8 year old consoles. Cheaper too...you'll only have to spend a few bob upgrading it every few years too and multiplayer online is FREE.





There's thousands of community created custom maps too...put your money away, its not use here...

I dont know if I am the only one but I was so sick of BLOPS2 and all the connection issues that I decided to go back to mw2 and funny enough I am really enjoying it. Despite all the laggy lobbies, noobtubes, heartbeat sensors, commando, etc... and even if I only kill 3 or 4 people (playing search of course) I still enjoy it much more than blops2... I think its time to bring out cod4 now...

I abandoned MW3 and went back to 2 months ago, its way more fun even with all the crap in it, it just feels better, guns are great, maps are class.

Connection is bitchingly good, considering the relative numbers of players and that so many of them aren't Irish.

Tis, had many games where everyone was on 4 bars, less noobs, people playing the objectives etc. had some absolute epic games of Demo a few weeks ago, including a guy going 120-10 or something

I generally dont give a fiddlers bout my stats but it makes for interesting reading on this, I vary wildly between having decent games to getting utterly destroyed, its mad, never had this with the other CODs. I'm far from a great player but I could jump on MW2 right now and do pretty well, I was in a match on Blops2 last night and honestly I was dying every few seconds, couldnt get into it at all.

I didnt realise streaks build to others, stuck lightning strike/stealth chopper/VTOL on last night and did really well.

has the potential; to be great but with the headglitching and the fukking sh1te match making it makes mw3 look excellent

Is the lag comp really worse than on MW3 at release ? I never really noticed it that much from what i played.

I've never noticed it before tbh magill

dont always win 1 on 1 fights but when you are 7 nil down after losing 7 1 on 1 fights there's something up.also never noticed empting 20+ bullets into some one to only be killed by 2 hits and seeing the killcam and i didnt hit at all.

fair enough if its normal lag people jerking about but when the game plays normaly its a sh1t hand to be dealt.

for the record i have 10 meg down,just under half a meg up and pings of 20 ms to uk websites and about 30 to usa

Its worse than in blops1... so bad that, since I first started playing CoD I have stopped playing the game and have no interest in playing it again. I personally hated BO1 but for a few months I played, but this one, just got fed up

I tried it once or twice but being a noob not knowing maps frustrated me.
Should I give it another go ?

Yeah it's really good once y'er playing with someone who knows their way around. It's a lot more complicated than last time. There's loads of stuff to pick up, build & open.

I accidentally set up a class without engineer. When a Betty killed me I actually couldn't work out what had happened. Always run engineer me!

also, I hate dolphin dives... all I want to do is prone as quickly as possible!

I got killed a few times by BB even when I accidentaly dolphin dive... anyway, couldnt care less anymore, I am back on MW2 and I am having so much fun, its unreal...

I dont even care if I get noobtubed, commando, etc... I am just loving it! Need to get my hands on a chpea copy of COD4 for Xbox. I only have the PS3 version.

Kill Confirmed on Highjacked, go 2-11 with numerous connection interrupted and a host migration. So bad I turned the game off and put in Black Ops 1. First match of TDM I played went 22-1 on Kowloon. Every year with COD it's this same old ****e where the older game plays so much better, it's ridiculous. :rolleyes:
