Im pretty happy with the game having lost all hope of the series with the other garbage efforts.
The only thing i miss is clan servers,granted the Treyarch dedi servers are rocking so far but theres nothing like playing on a regular few servers and getting to know and play with the same people.
Before any console users say it,i dont mean a tiny few in a party i mean that community feel you get from playing on regular servers with regular players.
When i ran servers in the past for COD,BF games etc we could maybe have 150 regulars per server and most of them would register on our forums and the whole community would swing into motion.
Its something PC gamers are used to,the ability to rent servers for clans and communities would benefit the game hugely because so far the PC version of the game seems to be going down well.

Cool, will buy it for sure so. Though I also enjoyed MW2 and Blops (MW3 was ****e)

lol, who plays shooters with a multimonitor setup.... i've a triple monitor setup and even to me it sounds retarded. I don't think its their biggest mistake ever tbh.

So im finally up and going and just had 3 games on my fav map Nuketown and I really find the game bizarre

Its like there so much going on that doesnt to be. I have to learn the name of the killstreaks because I dont have a ****ing clue of what I can shoot down

Knifing running is ridiclous, like commando but on steroids

I hate that I cant use clan servers because they wouldnt put up with the **** like knife running

You know its not that bad, I rather ops 1 thou but its okay so far. Maybe if I learn a few more stuff about the game, ill get use to it

My game keep crashing.... but what I've played so far seems pretty good. Far better than Modern Farce 3

Yes but from what I see it's related to GTX570 and GTX580 cards on the beta drivers. Pure sickened really.

No issues here running on Win 7 64bit - hasn't crashed once - Radeon card though

Personally, better than MW3, about on par with Blops 1, not as good as MW2 or COD4, and certainly not as good as COD1/2. COD3...forget about that :P

I think there was talk a while back that they'd be following the BF3 route of renting servers. Was/is such a cash cow for BF3 I'd be surprised if it doesn't happen in feb or march when the numbers of people playing start to drop off.

i am still on the fence with this. I liked black ops a lot more then MW3, so who knows, if price is right i might get it.

Its fairly bad on the pc.Not as many hackers as mw3 but its still bad. Been the nail in the coffin for me playing CoD on the PC

Fair enough I probably wont bother with it on PC so, I have it on xbox dunno why I was even thinking of trying it on PC to be honest.

Bf3 on the pc is the way to go. Consoles don't do it justice

I thought it was better on PC than on console, it is much smoother thanks to higher framerates/dedicated servers (The netcode is still dog****). Its got better graphics and higher resolutions as you'd expect.

I got bored of the game very quickly tho. Maybe its overrun with hackers now or something but i don't know why people would say its better on console since it was better in every way (Except there being far fewer players), i haven't played it in a while tho.

I dunno ive watched a good few hours of PC live streams and no1 has ever complained of hackers.

Played it a few weeks back and was surprised at how much it improved over the months, much smoother game play and practically no lag. Think I'm gonna reinstall this evening and give it another bash.Took nearly a year away from playing cod with the odd go here and there and now, I think I'm rediscovering why I used to play it so much.After getting sick of bf3 ,just as many hackers playing it as cod and just as much spawn/base raping. Went back playing cod 4 over the last few days and been enjoying it,but not as many people playing, in europe anyway.Played 2 for a while and its just full of hackers and hard to get a game with a good connection(dom).

I agree, it is much better on PC for various reasons but as above I've pretty much gotten bored of Blops 2 anyway. That said, I wouldnt mind hopping on for a few games with fellow boardsies
