just been given a Samsung Blu-Ray BD-E6100, which turns the tv into a "smart" one, is it possible to stream links from my pc to it, as the integrated browser
    doesn't support flash.

Connect your PC direct to the TV using a HDMI cable, that's the only way around it. I have a Philips TV and a Sony Blu-Ray player, both have network ports and are connected to my BB router but the web browsers on both of them are crap and as you say, don't support flash. Any time I want to watch live video (in my case live US golf via www.pgatour.com), I connect the laptop direct to the TV.

Tesco sell cheap 3m HDMI cables for about €19.
