Hey guys, just wondering could anyone point me in the right direction on decisions on laptops. There for my two cousins as Christmas presents and I've been recruited by the aunt to get a solid laptop for both of them!

Usage would be nothing beyond Facebook and general surfing, so I cant go too far wrong, needs to be sub €500 and want Windows 8 as standard.

Few options in Argos here, will go in for a look and find out myself what specs they have exactly as the descriptions just state 'Intel Celeron Dual core' etc and not specific processors. All very vague.

All Windows 8 laptops here

Anyone with suggestions would be very helpful! Cheers.

Not bad prices with Argos but they are not the best names, apart from the HP but then again lots of HP have major over heating issues, and if they are teenage kids they more than likely will have them on for hours on end.

I would suggest getting a name you know, there are some good ones in Harvey Norman and Power City for what you would need them for and of course if you are buying two you might get a deal rather than just going to the machine in Argos and not been able to negotiate.
