Carbon road bike 2013

Hi,

I am upgrading my road bike in January. I currently have a KTM strada 1000 which has done about 2500 miles.

I was interested in hearing peoples opinions on the 2013 carbon road bikes available with full ultegra groupset. There seems to be a big price difference between alot of the brands. My budget is around €2500.

One of the reasons I am upgrading is to avail of the cycle to work scheme. I also want to upgrade to better groupset.

Has anyone any other suggestions that might be under 2k budget. I'm interested in specialized Tarmac sport 2013, but not sure about the components, also any suggestions on whether roubaix is more appropriate for Irish roads! Also like the look of kuota karma evo bike. Tbh I haven't a clue !!!

don't know if you changed the spec to upgrade the groupset, which doesn't come up in your link, but the base model you linked to only has a tiagra groupset.

op, although the rose links above don't seem to work for me, i'd seriously look at the rose offerings, i recently bought a rose full carbon, full ultegra di2, mavic kysriums, for a little over 2 grand. it's a beast of a machine. i had orginally being looking at canyon, but their prices have gone up recently which made them less attractive.

Wilier Izoard XP, £1750 in 105 guise at Cycle Surgery, think the bike hub in Howth or Cycling Pursuits in Limerick sell them. Have the 2011 version, lovely bike.

It's a bike builder, everything is fully customisable. With full Ultegra and carbon everything it comes in under 2K
